The Coastal Welcome

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport for a warm welcome and a short drive to the seaside town of Negombo, and relax by the beach or pool, followed by an evening stroll along the golden sands of Negombo beach.

Canals and catamarans

Explore Negombo’s heritage with a city tour including the Dutch Fort, historic canals and the bustling local fish market and an optional lagoon boat ride or a quiet afternoon at leisure on the shore.

The Golden Cave Temple

Transfer to the Cultural Triangle via Dambulla to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Cave Temple complex and continue to Sigiriya for a restful evening under the shadow of the great rock fortress.

The Lion Rock and Village Life

An early morning ascent of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress for breathtaking panoramic views of the jungle below, and immerse yourself in an authentic village experience with a bullock cart ride, catamaran excursion and a traditional Sri Lankan lunch.

The Spice Trail to Kandy

Travel toward the hill capital, stopping at a spice garden in Matale to learn the engineering behind our world-famous flavours and in Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of Tooth Relic and witness a vibrant evening cultural dance show.

Botanical Beauty and Highland Mists

A morning tour of Kandy, including the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and a walk around the serene Kandy Lake, and take a scenic drive into the high altitudes of Nuwara Eliya, the “Little England” of the tropics.

The colonial Highland Retreat

Visit a tea plantation and factory to see how the world’s finest brew is processed, and an afternoon exploration of Gregory Lake and the colonial landmarks of Nuwara Eliya.

The Great Blue Train Journey

Board the iconic train from Nanu Oya to Ella, widely considered one of the most beautiful train rides in the world and Evening cafe hopping in the vibrant, high altitude village of Ella.

Into the Wild

Visit the Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak before descending to Yala National Park and an afternoon jeep safari to track leopards, elephants and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

The Southern Coastal Ribbon

Transfer to the South Coast (Mirissa or Bentota) via a stunning scenic coastal route. and En route stop in historic Galle Fort for a walking tour of the ramparts and cobblestone streets.

Sun, Sand & Sea

Enjoy days at leisure for whale watching (seasonal), snorkelling, or simply soaking in the tropical sun.

Departure

Final breakfast at the hotel followed by a seamless transfer to the airport for your journey home.
